Eric was born in Bordeaux (France) in 1977 and grew up in Athens (Greece) where he received his formal musical education.
In 1983, he enrolled in the Apollonio Conservatory of Athens where he studied piano as well as the rudiments of composition.
In 1996, while studying for a diploma in music therapy (Montpellier – France), he was briefly introduced to the concept of electroacoustic composition. This led him in 1999 to start a degree in ‘Electroacoustic Composition’ at the University of Hertfordshire, followed by an MA in ‘Music Composition for Film and Television’ at Kingston University.
Between 2006 and 2015, Eric conducted a research PhD in the field of interactive music composition at Bristol University.
In 2008, he set up an audio post-production company, Visual Wave ltd, and has since been actively composing for broadcasting companies
